Right. But you wouldn't know it from most of the discussion in this channel.

as a matter of fact my dream bike seems to be only available in Indonesia and nowhere else.
the United Trifold 11 has basically everything I’m looking for in a folder:

https://www.unitedbike.com/bikes/urb.../trifold-11-le

sadly the company is non responsive and judging by how slow their website is, not exactly great at communicating either.

This thing, the United Trifold 7s? 8.7 million Rupiah ($550) buys you one. You might even get free shipping!

I was looking at the (Alfine) 11 version, but that one looks cool too! Is that yours?

No, I don't own a trifold. I pulled it from the largest national online shopping platform where I do most of my bike shopping, Tokopedia.

https://tokopedia.link/6CAVovqsuKb

The 11-speed Alfine model goes for about $1,150.

the nexus 7 looks like a better deal then, and I could always upgrade the IGH later if needed.
it’s a pipe dream though since they don’t seem to ship internationally or even care to reply to international requests…
EDIT: nevermind, just looked at the specs on the 11 and it’s definitely a good deal! I’d go for that for sure, just too bad it’s not steel, but I bet it’s nice.
