If you need 42mm (or another size that’s out of stock in silver), the black ones sell more slowly, and you can just do a “comprehensive” tape job.

I Am Told It Is An Early 70’s Bottechia

Well disguised. From a friend too old to continue the work. Getting an early start on my weekend.

Dial C for large flange hubs.

Some more Campy goodness from Ebay UK, and the cones look fine.
120.6mm rear OLD but I can't see any dates on the lock nuts.

And I've got some polished Super Champion Arc en Ciel to go with them

Edit: Had to dremel the rear lock nuts to clean the muck off, and they're stamped 81 which is pretty late, I think 1253 hubs are 63 - 82.

There's a 27.2mm Reynolds straight seatpost in the satchel of our USPS letter carrier right now.

I received this package from Toulouse , France. It has been posted here before, but a few years back a French enthusiast ( Fred Duces ) went deep down in the rabbit hole and re-launched the Ideale brand by searching out old employees who still had the knowledge of how to make a leather saddle. A quick YouTube search will reveal several really good videos. In any event, this is a titanium version with alloy rivets, and I am quite pleased.

48T & 34T TA chainrings from Peter White Cycles for my Griffon. (They look even better on the bike, but I failed to take a picture... )

TA Chainring Bolts — and a Postcard

I received some NOS TA Chainring bolts — the ones that connect the inner ring to the outer — from "dennishchico" on eBay.

TA Ref 62 chainring bolts

Not very exciting, and if I had been smarter, I would have bought them at the same time as the chainrings :-(. But what made them worth more than the price of admission was the vintage postcard that the seller used as a package stiffener:

Bob Hansing's Montrose Bike Shop, 2501 Honolulu Ave, Montrose, Calif.

Can anyone date the postcard?

No luck on the date but I got one too quite awhile back, so cool, love it when that happens, one of the coolest aspects of this whole thing.

From their website:
Montrose Bike Shop was founded in 1955. Nestled in the charming foothill community of Montrose, CA. The surrounding mountains, hills and valleys provide a diverse and cherished network of trails, paths and roads for cyclists of all abilities. The many small shops, cafes and restuarants make the post ride more fun and enjoyable.
From the looks of the clothing and surfboards it looks like 1960's in the 70's boards were shaped a bit different....but could be wrong.
Best, Ben
BTW, it's still there

I was very excited to get this, with two seriously stuck French drive side cups. As of tonight, though, it has gone 0-for1.

Those BBs are hard to source from comments on here. Has the old Campy taper I presume.

Far from C&V but these are going on my 95 Bianchi Trofeo. The Campy 9 speed Velo'che shifters I had on it finally died and reasonable priced parts are not as easy to find for them anymore. The price for all the stuff to go to 10s was only $125 more than the price of the parts for my 9s. So I figured I would finally get "modern" and go ten speed. Just as Campy is killing off 10's... Lol

Curious where you happened upon these bits. Silver or black?

I got a set of black ones. I don't think they make new silver bits. I found them at Bikinn. I order most of my Campy bits from Bikeinn because they are way cheaper than most places and since Turin closed in Denver the nearest place that is "campagnolo spoken here" is Vechio's up in Boulder. And as much as I like the guys at Vech's, I fudging hate Boulder.
