I haven't found a catalogue yet that uses these numbers for these parts, but it appears that the 32133 or 32120 may be the equivalent to schematics ref # 2219 for the first gen Jubilee with the shorter upper spring - so the short cages win. And 3111? No clue what model that goes to... So maybe SOL on the long cages... I have to find the catalogue referencing these parts numbers

Now I'm thinking these are reference numbers from a Raleigh, Puegeot or similar parts supplier catalogue.

I wonder if they had two different sizes heads to slide in for different size pedals?

The above tool is used to remove the two (sometimes one) largest sprockets on Regina and Atom freewheels. These thread on from the spoke side and have reverse threading. When using proceed with caution because the process will tighten the freewheel body to the tool and it can become very challenging to unthread the body from the tool. This is the most likely reason the sliding round lever is bent. The one on my tool actually broke!

Take a look at this thread, Obscure Tool Identification. In post #22 I provide a tutorial for using the tool with many pictures and descriptions.

The end on the left is for smaller sprockets (under 20T) and the right end for larger tooth sprockets. I have a similar more modern tool. They are not as effective as Chain Whips but are handy once the sprocket is loosened but more than finger tight.

Thank you PastorBob! With the dust and rust coating I hadn't even noticed the threading on the inside of the cup side. I do now notice the clamp marks on the outside of that threaded piece though. And I also notice that on the "pegged" end, mine has a double peg where your exemplar has a single. Looking closer, although visible in my pictures, you see a weld line. I don't know if this is just a different manufacturer who didn't care about completely filing and smoothing his weld, or a post purchase consumer modification to help spread the pressure or to assist in keeping the freewheel in a flat plane. But now I know what the tool is for... with my new old stock corncob Regina's that I would never use as configured. Now I just have to go through the other shelves and boxes to see if there are old Regina's with bigger cogs, or just cogs to give more "age appropriate" (for me) gearing so I can use those. Not that I'm likely to run through 5 or 6 Regina's

And again, thanks PastorBob on the Cholain... I have seen a Park tool (I believe) like this and other photos of this same tool, but I also am more a fan of chain whips - not that I have popped a tooth with a tool like this. I may end up with a wall of historical tools (if I can find a spare wall that isn't already covered with tools or parts drawers, or books). I've tried to find references to "Cholain" other than referring to this specific tool and only found a google result to a long gone ebay post "Cholain manufacturer catalog 1934 manufacture for cycles and automobiles".

Yes, and the fact that it is marked "Cholain #2" implies that there should be a "Cholain #1" as well, but I've never seen one. I've seen plenty of the #2s (I even have one on my tool board), but never a #1.

Yes, or removing track sprockets from hubs. Two different radii, to accommodate different sprocket tooth counts.

Cholain Brake tool...

I had just got done writing that I hadn't found a reference to Cholain other than an expired eBay listing for a 19030's Cholain catalogue for bikes and autos and I see an image for a brake tool...

found on a French version(?) of BikeForums
And then I look at the one I have been using for years...

it's not like it was stamped right in front of my face for 40 years
