These don't come around very often. Looks like it has Moron tubing with custom drawn Big Butts. Not sure which version, I see at least 3 steel (CrMO Steel, 4130HT & Tange Prestige) and 1 aluminum option

I was able to buy this Ibis today! Quite a bit different in real life than the pics. The normal random scratches and chips but a not identified dime size dent in the top tube is a bit of a bummer. Seller appeared to have acquired the bike in trade for labor on a job and didnt know much about it or why the front brake was missing and the crappy pedals. Anyway the bike is much smaller in real life than the pics. I thought it might be a 53ish or 54 ST. It is actually 48cm CTC and 50cm CTT top tube is 53.5 CTC SO the big reveal is that its a 650c front wheel which I didnt see in the pics at all. Anyway Ive always wanted to own an Ibis so thats cool but its a bit on the small side for me. I might be willing to part with it if the right generous offer comes along down the line. IDK it took me about 4 hours driving time RT to pick this up and about $60 in gas........ Thank you to @SoCaled for the lead!

Serotta CRT fast tourer in New York

Serotta CRT fast tourer in New York
Something you don't see everyday. Definitely easy on the eyes with the blue ombre colorway.

https://newyork.craigslist.org/que/b...734955232.html

surprisingly relaxed geometry for an American- made racer leaning more towards dare i say a cross bike designation with the eyelets and all

Notable imperfection? A filled ding maybe?

Fastback seat stay/cluster

Possibly higher end reynolds tubing exclusively made for serotta. My best guess is it's 853. Maybe something even fancier

Yeah, this one has been hanging around CL for a while now at $125. The lug work looks nice and it has some 6400 Ultegra parts, but there arent many pictures and it hasnt really been cleaned in anyway. Hard to get excited about for $125 and hasn't budged from there. At $50 it would probably already be in storage in my garage attic until I could get to it.

This is kind of like the earlier Nishiki. in this case, it looks like its been resprayed, so a mystery bike as you say. Sakae CR cranks probably, Cyclone or ARX RD, looks like a nice shimano headset. it hasnt been listed very long, but I bet it wont move fast. Again, at $50 this is a no brainer probably (even though the backward seat post makes my prostate hurt just looking at it), but random mystery bike is not going to get $100 anytime real soon

I mean, I would rather have this Shogun in Bloomington with Shimano 600 everyday of the week for $100

Even with the 50th anniversary groupset, this is a LOT to ask for a not-too-special frame in this condition.

1984 Ciocc Designer C40 Campagnolo 50th Anniversary group RARE - $2,500 (Lowell)

wheel size: 700C

condition: good

I am selling a vintage 1984 Ciocc Designer C40 with 56cm Columbus SLX steel tubing, an almost COMPLETE Campagnolo 50th Anniversary group, San Marco Concours saddle, 7 speed Shimano Dura Ace cluster, Cinelli bar/stem and 700c Araya clinchers wheels. The frame has rust spots on the rear chrome triangle looks to be under a clear coat but the components are in overall great shape. The only item I believe to be missing is the pedals, Campagnolo Super Record with Campagnolo toe caps are currently mounted. I also can't confirm the BB is matching to the group as well since I don't have the Campagnolo specific removal tools. After years of collecting or some would say hoarding I've come to the conclusion as much as I try I can't keep all the cool and rare bicycle stuff from the 80's. Super rare group only going to go up value since the 100th anniversary group is not far away. Serious buyers only. Cash and pick up only will not ship by any means. Please mention name, item, a phone number for a response all other emails or texts will be considered spam and will be ignored. Thanks
