FS: 1983 Schwinn Superior Frame/Fork - Waterford
Greetings,
Here’s an oddball in need of a little love. 83 Superior made at Waterford, basically a Waterford Paramount, Serial #8358 (Oct 83…got to be one of last ones made). I emailed Waterford and they had no information other than they made it. Beautiful bike but has some rust/bubble spots (mainly side/bottom of top tube) that have grown and need some attention. I’m in the riding phase of my career so not looking for a project. You could probably just sand off, spray paint, and ride for another fifty years. Decals are cool but starting to disintegrate. Lots of pics available and can take more. Most of paint is beautiful…metallic sparkly blue with rare yellow head badge. I’ve posted built up pics here somewhere. Ride is fantastic…feels fast…better than my old 71 Paramount.
25”, 62x59 ctc, 120 rear spacing, modern headset. No idea of value. Continuing my status as a “not for profit” hobbyist…I paid $260 so let’s start there plus shipping. If you can pick up in Seattle let’s deal.
