Park Tool Repair stand sticking clamp rotation
I have the Park Tool PCS 10.3. The rotating clamp likes to stick, and the only way to loosen it is to clamp a broom stick and break it free. It seems like it's a common problem, based on an internet search. I went up to the Park product page, and in the Q&A, a Park employee recommends two ways to fix. One is to scuff up the plastic cone in the head using sandpaper. The other is to apply a bit of anti-seize. The sandpaper method didn't work for me, but the anti-seize did.....for a few days. It's sticking now like its been welded.
Any ideas? Seems like a design flaw, no? Maybe a dissimilar material in the cone and its housing?

the Bike Hand YC-100BH has served me well for over a decade now... same basic configuration, and it has zero problems after all these years.
and it retails for 40% of the Park copy.
