What is grandview like? Any hills? I'm going, but a team mate is thinking about coming down, but his knee has been acting up on climbs so he is skipping the Rockford MI crit because of the climb on that corse. Is it the same course each day? At least one Trails-Edge.com person will be there

The Sunday race has a hill and it sucks. Somewhat technical downhill. Finish just past the top of the hill. Near the bottom of the climb, there was a family offering free beer at their party. I should have stopped right there. I was pulled half way through the 35+ race last year.

I'm racing both days at Grandview.
I live in Grandview. Saturday is flat. Sunday, the hill will kick tail after a few laps. Roads are decent with the exception on Sundays' race where there some rough spots on Goodale Blvd, after coming down Urlin Ave

Am I the only one doing the Grandview race? See y'all there. I feel good about it. After a few good showings in my recent TT's, and my repetitive, strong breaks in the Tuesday Nighters, I think I've got a really good shot.
Now I've gotta wonder;
Skinsuit or regular kit?
Aluminum or carbon wheels?

Damn, I'm in Kentucky during that. Even with an 8.2 mile climb, I'm looking to do ANYTHING.

Since racing season is a few months away and I'm setting up my personal schedule around my team's schedule, I'm trying to see who's doing what as their first [outdoor] race of the year.
Racelistings only tells me so much.
Are there any good USAC races before RATL on April 19th?

It's crazy that I won't be able to do some of the races I marked just a few months ago. I'll be in Wisconsin and Illinois for the Ohio State TT's and Granview Classic and some place I can only imagine to be far away (U23 road nats) for Shreve.
It's sad to see that Chippewa didn't get USAC status, I might do it still.

Thanks! I just saw that now two of my old teammates are on One Call Now's Junior team.

Everybody I have talked to thinks superweek isn't gonna happen. Or they're not planning on it.

Yeah I'd still like it to happen, but even in the two years I've done it it's gone noticeably down hill. The events put on by the people doing the Midwest Cycling Series were MUCH better in comparison, better run, more money, all that jazz.

Crap, I've got the Ohio Police and Fire Games the week before that. Not sure I can swing two weeks away from home right now.
