Fondos lol
Any recommendations for next years cycling events? Im definitely doing the Tour De Big Bear in August. Love that ride. I’m also thinking about the San Diego GF ride as well. Any other rides that are worth the entry fees???
big bear has great routes and SWAG along with bacon at one stop. Any other rides have something worth while?

I'm gonna do the TdBB also this year...doing 50 miles. I love it too.
I am also interested in other, similar rides...doesn't look like anyone has any ideas to share.
This will be my 4th TdBB.

I missed the SD ride. Looking for another this spring/summer. Already signed up for TdBB. I love that ride, although I haven’t done the new route. I do suggest the 80 miler so you can climb Onyx summit, it’s totally worth it. Ascending isnt too bad and the decend is the best. Flying down at 50 MPH was exhilarating

I'm 75 years old, so flying down from onyx summit at 50 isn't something on my playlist these days....I have finished the 50 mile ride twice at a little over 3 hours (3:08 or so). I'm targeting sub 3 hour this year...
I have considered the 70 just not sure about the climb...I'd like to so it sometime with out the TdBB so I know what to expect...maybe next year.
Thanks for your reply and encouragement.

cweb99 I've ridden the Mammoth Gran Fondo twice. I can highly recommend that one.
