Still kicking.
That shock will decrease it's performance, what's wrong with the shock the big hit came with?

Umm ok here is a cheap option to turn a good shock (the RC) into an amazing shock....
https://www.pushindustries.com/
You will see and amazing increase in performance for almost no cost. The crane creek is not on par with the RC.

Not trying to start suff here so don't flame me. I have a friend that is running a prototype Double Barrel on his Demo and says its the best shock he's ever had.Yes he rides for Cane Creek but were friends and he tells me when something sucks. It's really an Olins shock and they make some of the best motorcycle and car stuff out there. On the other hand the thing will be high dollar.I looking to put a new shock on my bike as well and I I'm looking at a Romic. If you can get to one of the bigger races this year you can look up Chris Herndon at the Cane Creek truck and pick his brain on it.

I would still get the shock pushed. I don't trust fairly unknown shocks/equipment. I don't like being one of those first few hundred who either love it or regret it. If you don't mind experimenting and taking a chance on something new, by all means get the shock and tell us what you think

Didn't like the feel, but maybee that's because I'm use to the handling characteristics of a pushed RC. My preferred ride is still a hardtail though.

C'mon Kona, you've never been on a bike with that shock so you really can't say how it feels.

But not with the Double barrel. The question was about the shock, not a bike. Why give false info?

All of the shocks ive tried that CC made were damn good, smooth...and light. The downside to the DB is that its going to retail for about $7-800....I think an Avy would be a better choice for your ride.
