Spicer Track Frames

Okay-
Anyone out there ride one of these pups? I saw a Fm Messer last Friday in Chitown with a white one. I have looked at them before, but balked as they are Aluminium (yeah, steel is first choice--but price is becoming more and more an issue latelty). Any thoughts?
They look purty...

165-I probably shouldn't post to this, but I have to tell you; I've done some small biz with Gene at Spicer and I was very impressed. I haven't ridden his frame, but I found him to be very customer oriented, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would do business with him again in a New York minute.

Looks like a nice frame, what is wrong with Aluminum? I know people who ride steel love it, but most of my bikes are aluminum and one steel and one CF. I have two track bikes that are aluminum with a CF fork and love the ride of both of them.

Yep. She beat a lot of people at Global Gutz too, including me (not that beating me is a huge feat).. She's pretty quick.
