06 Felt F65 Bike Porn!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

06 Felt F65 Bike Porn!

Got a sweet deal on this F65 a couple weeks ago on ebay. New old stock. Retailed for $1699 but I got it for $949. Aluminum frame with carbon fork and stays with full Ultegra. Swapped the stem for one a little shorter, put on a Toupe saddle before my butt even touched the stock one, and slapped on some old Look pedals until my 2008 Ultegras get here. Just got it last week and took it on a 30 mile ride this weekend. "Felt" pretty darn good. Quite a diff for me since I haven't had this kind of real road bike since I got my Atlantis a couple years ago.

Anyway, here's the obligatory pics!
Sorry if the logo is distracting, I didn't feel like making dupes for BF.

if you ever wanna find out all the settings someone used (and camera type), save the image to your computer, right-click and bring up the properties menu, click summary, then advanced. tells you pretty much everything you'd want to know about the photo.

good find on a great bike btw!

HA! Screwwwww that. That's my commuting baby.

Besides, mine looks better than any typical "Grant Styled" Atlantis. He probably wouldn't want it!

I'm happy with my 2007 black F55 but honestly, I'm jealous of that F65. That's sharp and cost less.

Thanks!
I was actually looking hard at yours... dug the color scheme. But instead I was able to go a year older with the upgraded components. I'm usually not into silver-ish cars or bikes but the finish looks real nice in person and I already have two black bikes.
