KUDOS: Your Chance to brag
First the rules.
1.) Stay on topic. No random posts or thread crapping. You either brag, provide kudos, or get out.
2.) Keep the comments to Private Messages to the members.
3.) Either start your post on of two ways. If you want to BRAG, you start it with the word BRAGGING. If you want to give KUDOS, you quote the original poster's post and write KUDOS. Get it? (see examples)
4.) Anyone that posts negative comments in this post will have their post erased. (Trust me, Tom likes doing it, You should see how much cleanup he does in the Pay it Forward thread in FS).
5.) Use this as your chance to get some self satisfaction and be selfish. That's the purpose.
6.) Use the kudos you receive as motivation to keep up the great work!
Examples
Original Post by BeckyW:
Today I went on a 13 mile ride, averaged 19.5 mph, with an avg cadence of 85.
My Reply:
KUDOS! Great Job! Keep it Up!
Let's see it! Where's the bragging?

Kudos to you for starting something different. When I break an 18MPH average over 10 miles or more I will post, until then I will watch.

to quitting smoking! Best thing that can happen to anyone!
BRAGGING here
Today I commuted for the 3rd time into work, since I started last week.
Last Saturday during a training ride I hit 18.3mph over a 15 mile stretch on my trusty old steely. Best avg speed I ever achieved.

Bragging: On my recent biking, camping, and golfing trip to Wisconsin I rode my personal best distance of 65 miles at 14.5 mph. Also, reached my top speed of 37 mph coasting downhill. And on my last day of vacation I shot my best round of golf of the trip, golfed in the afternoon after riding 24 miles in the morning!
What a vacation!

I'm not a golfer but Kudos for playing your best round after your best ride.
Earlier this year, as I was starting to commute by bike, a guy on a touring machine blasted past me like I was standing still.
Yesterday I saw the same guy again, we chatted a bit on the way down the hill then when we got to the junction he said "bye then" and turned left. I followed him and caught up to him going up the next hill (wasn't trying hard, just my normal ride). We then chatted more over the next 4 miles of up and down hills. He does 23 miles a day commuting and looks pretty hard core compared to me.
Anyway the bragging bit is that as we got to the top of the last hill the guy said "you can certainly do the hills can't you?". I saw that as a complement.

Kudos to all of us Clydes working on improving our health by riding a bike and excercising.
Bragging - Monday I went for a ride long enough to put me over 1,000 miles for the season so far. I also completed 1/2 of our MS150, which is all that I signed up for this year. 75 miles was my longest single day ride of my life. I'm most proud of myself for meeting these two long range goals that I set for myself last year.

My average ride is 10-15 miles about 1-2 times a week; I've been cycling for about 4 months. The infrequency of my rides is due to work and family rather than will.
Monday, I did a 30 mile ride in 2:03:33. That is my longest ride yet, and while it's not much, I'm still proud.
Kudos: My wife, who was on her fifth ride ever, did the 13 mile option in right at an hour.

Kudos to all who get out there and ride whether it is 1 mile or 100!
Bragging...I had my first over 100 mile week last week thanks to starting my commute to work. 111 miles for the week. One of my goals down. Many to go.

Kudos for all the great accomplishments
Bragging - I dropped out of being a Clyde due to weight loss several months ago and I am still not a Clyde. Dropping weight is one thing, keeping it off is another. What is really funny is that here in Costa Rica I am not referred to as "The Gringo", nope, the "The big man who rides the bike".

Bragging!
This morning I rode 12 miles, skinny dipped, and rode 12 miles back, with the riding at around a 17 mph average, the skinny dipping much slower. And my HRM says that though I went faster than ever on the ride, my heart rate was lower. Which means I'm fitter. Right?
