Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Opinions, impression about Bag

There were no bags in the market so i decided designing one for me from the very beginning:

Hah, cool. Those look a little small though. Any plans for larger ones? Did you make these yourself or just design?

Also, it might help to increase the integration of the bag and the strap. Bags that simply have a strap attached seem to hang rather than wrap around you.

Good luck!

I like what you did with the straps on the inside for pump, lock, etc.

i do the moldings, design of course and cutting ,sewing is for someone experienced, almost an art,the lock serves to clousure the bag to prevent the laptop from being stolen.
The strap is integrated to the bag in 4 points 2 on each side as a backup in case of failure, the flapper ,bottom and sides of the bag are one piece

the bag looks pretty sweet. but it'd be cool to see more detail on how the strap adjusts.

The dimensions look a little awkward to me. I haven't had that many bags in my life, but it seems like these bags are too deep for how narrow they are. Then again, maybe the full bag lays on your back okay, but right now it looks like it will sit awkwardly when full.

Those look awesome! I would buy one too (if you're selling them), were it not for the Wal-mart $12 special working just fine for me atm.

I like those bags alot. Seems to have all the space I need as a comuter, not a messenger. The neat bike tools/lock/pump storage is a wonderful idea. Send me a link, I'll snatch one up

The one in the picture is the two time "la clandesta" winner the first chilean alleycat wich i sponsor with a bag for the winner, but i do like Fun people.....
the bag is designed to conmute thats why it is not that big there are no messenger jobs in chile except for a new company just getting started.
The scene here in chile is at a breaking point right now, before all entities asking for cycling rights were together but now all of them splitted, some were asking for more cycle lanes, some were claiming to not use your helmet, and some like me and other groups were in this for the pure fun of riding your bike, all the previous ones were against racing in the streets but none of them was able to put la cleta all over the news showing la cleta as a real option,of course they claimed we were irresponsable people bla bla bla.......

me gusto! I like the clandesta - rey de la calle branding also.

On ciclismo: keep riding amigos, it's the way forward! Yearning to get our communal cycling project in brazil off the ground (with help from chilenos), then spread biking far and wider

I was wondering why I didn't know any of the posters ... then realised this thread is seven years old and it's the OP who's resurrected the thing. If it's in leather now, I'm guessing you're happy with it. Not for me though if you made it to hang off a carrier ... (the bike works for me, I don't work for the bike)

He means he prefers his bike to wear the bag

He means it's a "grown up" messenger bag; presumably because of the canvas and leather.

Which is why I used 'off', not 'of', two different words with different meanings but similar to look at but hey, the OP is from Chile so I'm guessing that while his English is pretty good, it's probably not his first language ... and his English is still better than a lot of people on this forum who's first language IS English.

The reply was right. I don't carry bags, I have a carrier on the bike the the bike carries the bags for me. However, I can see a lot of merit in a bag that would allow you to either wear it or hang it off a carrier ... as long as it did both properly.
