Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Is/Was that the infamous "Jason Lee Rides A Gnarly Fixie" bike? Looks familiar.

Personally, I would hunt him down and take it back.

The very one. The upside is that I have his top secret ebay user name and can track all of the weird sh*t he buys.

Little consolation, really.

8****8, right? Don't worry, I'm not a creepy stalker, I just remember the auction. I pulled the images as scrap 'cause I really like the way the bike looked.

Here's his Velospace. Bookmarked it from the original thread.

His place looks pretty dumpy.

I'm pretty sure I just want to live out the rest of my life making bikes like these. Slack geometries... promenade bars... honjo fenders... brazed racks... Brooks everything. You know.

This thing would look rad with a set of promenades or flipped north bars.

all bikes approach townies/commuters. Or is it that all riders end up there?
