Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: venerable surly crosscheck

My design is finished, I've just got to have it printed and lammed. Think I'll make a couple extra for myself, too. I'm very happy with the design.

chombo, design a postcard/spokecard for brooklyn/new york city, print and laminate it, send it to the address i sent to you. you'll get one in the mail from some other part of the country/world in the next week or two.

cutoff date will be July7th for most people, 15th for people who had to do international mail (is that enough time for intl?).

because of DeCSS and such protections most DVD players wont give you anything useful with that.

rip the dvd to get rid of the protection (use dvd fab decrypt) then play the file off your hdd then use print screen or whatever shortcut to get a screen shot.

print screen won't work because of the encoding. i used to have some windvd program that came on my computer that would take screenshots.

i might just download a ripped version. way easier than ripping it.

Might be a little late for this but you can grab AnyDVD and run it in the background. It removes any encryption that is on the DVD as it runs and you should be able to grab a screen cap after that.
