Nice.

I just sold a bike yesterday with a Bianchi-celeste colored rack on it that would have matched those bottle cages. Well, it would have matched those cages about 30+ years ago when I first got the rack, but age and miles scratched a lot of the color off it by the time it departed yesterday, so it collectibility had become much diminished.

From The Collection Reduction Support/Encouragement/Accountability thread! :

As a Suntour aficionado, I get some amused satisfaction that a previous owner replaced the NR rear with a VX.

Hope these bikes find a good home at the right price.

I believe that early P-15's came with the Suntour as original equipment before switching to the much "beloved" Campagnolo Gran Turismo.

$50 '88 Fuji Sagres SP.

This bike is maybe a few miles from me, and I would totally pick it up but.... I already have a mint condition '86 Sagres and I really don't need any more projects . Someone but this before I change my mind and lose even more space in my living room.

That's actually TODAY, not Wednesday. And the Nishiki bid is $4 US.

Both bikes are remarkably clean for "general" auction house items. I doubt the auctioneers cleaned them up this well, which suggests to me that the estate owner probably took VERY good care of these bikes.

Don't forget the 17% buyer's premium. Still a steal, in both cases.

Don't think I've seen SunTour in the catalogs on these and never saw any new ones with them back in the day.

https://schwinnbikeforum.com/SLDB/De..._7074.htm#1973

Campy GT, Rally's replaced many of them and then the Schwinn/Shimano LeTour which FWIW has always been a crap RD for me.

I stand corrected, both are correct......I meant Schwinn Approved Shimano Le Tour RD, not Sun-T.

this Coppi with exotic Columbus multi-shape steel tubing, was posted in the CR list, and raised some hackles cause of it not being truly "classic" tho since it's built by Pelizzoli he's considered a true KOF.
There's a VERY lengthy and detailed description I will not copy/paste but if you're interested and have the $1999.99 asking price, you'll want to read it all:

M,
I knew that the early ones came with a Japanese RD and would have been correct had I checked my early P-15 before responding, as it has the Shimano RD on it. When I first purchased it, I thought the the RD was replaced.
Best, Ben
