Bought a Flite 500 KHS and been riding now for a month and I love it.. it is so relaxing and stress relief... but my problem id the rear brakes that came with the bike is frozen...How can I fix it? When you say frozen, have you tried to release the brake? It could be that the cable outer has come away from the cable stop on the frame and this has caused the cable to be pulled so that the brake is stuck on permanently. Seriously, I'd try everything before claiming on your warranty - if only because you'll wait ages for them to deal with it.

I actually send emails to KHS and they send me to different delaers that are over three hours driving.... so I took everything apart last night and found the problem. The bolt that hold the brakes together was too tight. I cleaned the whole thing and so far everything is working lik the first time. How can I prevent this from happening again? Should I put another washer between the screw?

Thanks again

Luis

Tighten, but do not over tighten.
