Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How much? Could be more of a fine than a service charge.

Any person convicted of a violation of the Town of Greece Property Maintenance Law may be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or by imprisonment not to exceed one (1) year or both for each violation. Each day that the violation continues constitutes a separate offense and the penalties above are applicable to each offense.

What’s this thread about?

I can’t believe it’s been almost 6 months since I’ve logged in. Life happened, in a good way, but I’m looking forward to getting back on the bike and in the pool in the next couple of weeks.

We have a new puppy and a 3yo going on 13. Tax season was brutal because I had one employee rage quit after telling her that her work product was inconsistent when she was fishing for compliments, and another person sent a drunken text at 2:17AM saying they “weren’t sure if they could me the hours I asked for.” His access was terminated the next morning. I dropped my August Olympic tri and will refocus on next year.

Despite that, life has been solid. You wouldn’t think so given the above, but it’s good. Looking forward to getting back in the groove. Hope everyone here is well.

I slept a full eight hours last night, and so got a late start. When I rolled out at six, the sun was a full hand above the horizon. And it’s only the middle of May. By Jun 21 it could be straight up at 6 AM!

When going to a drive-in where they charge per head, yes it was.

One never needs to mow more than once a week, regardless of the rain amount. #MowingMath
In May, twice a week cuts are common, especially if you fertilized late fall or early spring.

This was my Cadillac. Bought it in high school for $149. (not my pic but almost identical). Took my friends to the drive in and the beach with it. My parents were gone on vacation and I stayed home when I got it. All the neighbors were worried.

Oh boy. The boomer element here has touted the fact that confused utes are buying records as evidence that they are as good as digital. Well, guess what? The utes will buy anything. Even lousy cassettes. So much for that argument.

I mowed and watered yesterday. Gonna mow again today, taking it down another 1/8"

Might do some aeration today if it doesn't get too hot. I'd better put a couple beers in the fridge ASAP

You oughta know by now. If you can't drive with a broken back, at least you can polish the fender.

I learned on a 1963 Galaxy 500, white top, maroon lower, 289, of course. My dad loved that car. We also had a 1961 Starliner with a 352 and had supplemental external oil lines to feed the rear cylinders. Didn't stop my brother from blowing it up, though.

The Starliner had way too much power for a couple teenagers. I spun it around more than once under-estimating it's power.
